The environment in which we grow up shapes us as people, and ultimately all of this resides in the memory of each one of us.

‘Quedrá en la mente’, translated as ‘It Will Remain in the Mind’, deals with the problem of feeling like you belong in many places at once, yet nowhere in particular. The family photo archive is the starting point for investigating the traces of the past in the present, and the intervention of these materials, with their own memories, shows how different family contexts play a crucial role in shaping an undefined identity.

This exhibition aims to establish a conversation about the search for personal identity through the relationship between territory and family, using photographic and audiovisual media.
